Northeast Centre of Community Final Campaign

With the last issue of our newsletter we formally announced our $2 Million NECCS Campaign.  the money we raise is for some important items.  They are the placement of synthetic turf for the outdoor soccer fields, electronic equipment for the indoor soccer fields and the commons area, and the construction of some parts of the human services component.  This this point we are happy to say we are over halfway to our target.  There are several ways residents can be part of our campaign.  A very popular way would be to pledge for a donor plaque to be placed within the main area of the Genesis Centre.  This donation would be a $1,000 pledge paid over  two years.  Remember, a donation of $20 or more is a tax deductible contribution, with tax receipts being issued every 6 months.  Just 8 weeks into the campaign, over a hundred residents have pledged to NECCS for a donor plaque in Honor of their close ones, families, or businesses.  There are a limited number of these permanent, plexi-glass plaques available.  For more information call our campaign office at 403 590 2833 or Greg at 403 285 2621.
